PRESS RELEASE – The Folly Mixtures set to bring pizzaz to East Anglia

The UK’s most famous burlesque group have been added to the stellar roster of performances that make up Mister Jack’s Raspberry Cannoli Cabaret.

The Folly Mixtures are the second act in the line up to be announced ahead of May’s shows in Norwich and Ipswich.

With cabaret residencies in London, at Café de Paris and Priveé of Knightsbridge, the Folly Mixtures are set to impress audiences as they dance to live music performed by the show’s headliner, Ray Gelato and the Giants.

Showcasing fully choreographed group burlesque routines and stunning solo performances, their selection box of showgirls has been nominated for Best Burlesque act three times in a row at The London Cabaret Awards.

Sarah Lou, one of the founders of the Folly Mixtures, said: “We’re excited to be part of the Raspberry Cannoli Cabaret and in particular, to be performing with Ray Gelato and the Giants once more. Mister Jack has a way of bringing together a variety of acts and concocting an astounding night of cabaret and this will be no different.”

The Raspberry Cannoli Cabaret comes after great demand and a successful sold out event in 2017 starring the collaboration of the Folly Mixtures and Ray Gelato and the Giants.

The event will transport the Open, Norwich and the Corn Exchange, Ipswich, into the venue of a 1960s Italian-American inspired speak easy, where ladies dazzle and wise guys meet.

A spokesperson for Mister Jack said: “It’s a pleasure to be working with the Folly Mixtures once again. Securing acts like this proves that you don’t have to travel to the capital for high-quality cabaret.

The audience can expect an evening of pure spectacle.

The Raspberry Cannoli Cabaret will take place on 5th May 2018 at the OPEN in Norwich, and on 25th May 2018 at the Corn Exchange in Ipswich.

For a limited time only, tickets to this event are on a special early bird price of £20.18.
